Spring 2006 was a success for us in the show ring.  We brought home 7 ribbons, including 2 Blue Ribbons.  Sweet Breeze, our dark silver grey female, took another blue ribbon at NAOBA and Ellington took a blue at MAPCA.  We were very pleased with the results since they were very competitive shows. 

As of the end of October, we have had 11 cria: 5 males and 6 females.  We are delighted with all of them, but after 11 males in a row, girls are a nice change!  We had some gorgeous cria, including an Invincible girl.

More of our Alpaca yarn is available!  We have yarn in black, brown, fawn, beige and white.  Please write or call if you knit or crochet and would like a superior fleece product.   We sold out much of what we produced last spring and our new shipment is going quickly.

The Great Rock Alpaca Suite is ready for visitors who have a serious interest in raising alpacas. You may stay overnight and spend time with us taking care of the alpacas for hands-on experience.  It has a kitchen, bedroom, living room and bathroom and the view of the barn and alpacas can't be beat!
